By accessing and using Resumetail ("Service"), you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If you do not agree, do not create an account, purchase credits, or use the Service.
The Service includes free resume editing, templates, and document export, plus optional credit-based resume import, AI tailoring, experience suggestions, and cover-letter generation. Requested AI operations send relevant resume and job-description content to our API and OpenAI. AI output is a draft for your review, not a guarantee of accuracy, hiring outcomes, or compatibility with every recruiting system.
3.1 Credit System: AI and import actions use the number of credits shown before you start them. New-user or promotional credits may be offered separately from purchased credits.
3.2 Payment Processing: Razorpay processes credit purchases. Its checkout shows the final amount and supported payment methods before you authorize payment.
3.3 Pricing: Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR). Any applicable tax treatment or invoice information will be shown or provided as required.
3.4 Payment Confirmation: Credits are granted after payment is verified. If confirmation is delayed, webhook recovery may add them later; contact support if your balance does not update.
3.5 No subscription: Current credit packages are one-time purchases and do not renew automatically.
4.1 Automatic credit return: When the Service can detect that a charged AI/import action failed before producing a usable result, it attempts to return those credits automatically.
4.2 Unused purchases: Credit purchases are generally final once credits have been used. Contact support promptly about duplicate charges, unauthorized payments, or credits that were not delivered.
4.3 Review: Any refund request is assessed against the payment status, credit usage, these terms, Razorpay's process, and applicable law.
4.4 Statutory rights: Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

5.1 Users must provide accurate personal and payment information.
5.2 Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
5.3 Users must not misuse the Service or attempt to circumvent the credit system.
5.4 Users must comply with all applicable laws while using the Service.
5.5 Users must review AI-generated statements and remove anything inaccurate, unsupported, confidential, or misleading before submitting an application.

7.1 The Service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied.
7.2 We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
7.3 Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the credits in question.
7.4 These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without limiting consumer protections that cannot be waived. Any dispute shall be brought before courts of competent jurisdiction in Kerala, India. Paid checkout remains disabled until the merchant jurisdiction is publicly configured.
The checkout shows the payable amount. Tax treatment and invoices, where applicable, are handled according to the transaction details and legal requirements.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service. The dated policy version published here identifies the terms in effect; additional notice will be provided where applicable law requires it.
